This site is a display of Firefighting Boots, Patches, Memorials, and other items. The site features a display of many fire boots, several of which are very old and come from fire departments across the country. The tall three quarter (30") rubber fire boots are becoming very rare and this site is dedicated to these classics! As I travel across the USA, it has become apparent that many interesting sites are related to firefighting. This includes the Iowa Firefighters Memorial and even the lone fire truck (ready for action) in the front yard of a volunteer firefighter in a small town in Wisconsin! The visit to "Ground Zero" in New York was an extremely emotional experience.

A few fire Departments are featured on this site with several of the FDNY Companies. Our condolences and deepest sympathy go to those in the World Trade Center, those on the hijacked airliners, those in the Pentagon, and the New York Firefighters who lost their lives September 11, 2001.
