| This pair of Rangers were found at the surplus store. They were probably made in
1992 and are military issue as noted by the label inside. See the label below on the
right. It shows the name Ranger Footwear, USA and Endicott Johnson. Apparently
Endicott is the military supplier, but Ranger made the boots. This pair, like pair
#7, are the older shinny rubber. Unlike pair #7, the Ranger yellow label and the flag
are on the side of each boot instead of the front. Interesting? The model or
stock number is 41240. Boot #7 is style 4124. My guess is the "0" is
added for the military and this is also a Ranger 4124 with label on the side. This
boot is newer than boot#7. The date is a little more unclear because the number that
appears to be a date (021992) is shown as the lot of serial number?
